Attio calls itself the CRM for agentic revenue. Its pages describe a system that learns from your inbox and calendar, enriches every record, records calls, and runs agents across pipeline work. Nautis has a sales CRM, but that module is a small part of what it does, and it goes nowhere near as deep.
So why compare them? Attio's startup program puts it on many founders' shortlists, and a founder choosing one tool for this year wants to know what they lose by going wide. Below, we go through what Attio does that Nautis doesn't list, then seat costs, then one month of founder-led sales. Everything stated about Attio was read on its site in October 2026.
What Attio does far beyond the Nautis Leads CRM
Say this plainly first: on customer data, Attio is the stronger product. Here is what stands out on its pages.
- A data model you shape. Custom objects, relationship attributes and formula attributes. Its plans allow 3, 5 or 12 objects, and unlimited on Enterprise. The Nautis Leads CRM has custom fields on a fixed lead structure.
- Records that fill themselves. Syncing email and calendar builds a contact database, and enrichment adds company description, category, employee count, funding raised and social links. Communication intelligence tracks first and last interaction and connection strength. The Nautis guides don't cover enrichment.
- Call Intelligence. Attio's own AI records, transcribes and logs calls across Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, linked to the right records. Nautis shows transcripts when you connect Fathom, Fireflies or Read.ai, on the meeting itself.
- Sequences and bulk email. Personalized outreach at scale. The Nautis guides don't cover sequences.
- Revenue agents. Its workflows page shows agents for account research, lead scoring, routing, call recaps, churn signals and more.
- A platform to build on. API, webhooks, App SDK and an MCP server, plus apps for Slack and Claude. Nautis offers an API and MCP connector too, but no SDK for building in-product apps is covered in its guides.
If you can read that list and feel relief, you already have your answer.

Attio's seat maths at 5, 10 and 25 people
Attio prices per user and Nautis per plan. Prices are from its pricing page as of October 2026, with Annual being 20% cheaper. If you see other numbers quoted, check the date. A text file on Attio's own site written for AI tools shows lower figures than its pricing page, and we used the pricing page.
| People | Attio Plus, annual $35 or monthly $44 | Attio Pro, annual $79 or monthly $99 | Nautis |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | $0 tier covers 3 seats, or $105 to $132 on Plus | $237 to $297 | Launch, $49 |
| 5 | $175 to $220 | $395 to $495 | Launch, $49 |
| 10 | $350 to $440 | $790 to $990 | Voyage, $99 |
| 25 | Not available | $1,975 to $2,475 | Fleet, $129 |
That table overstates Attio's cost, because only people who work customers need a seat. Three sellers on annual Pro is $237 a month in a 25-person company. Compare that with your actual seller count.
Attio's startup program changes the first two years if you qualify. Its page offers 80% off the annual Pro plan and credits for the first year, 30% off the second, onboarding support, and perks from other tools. Its FAQ lists the criteria as VC-backed, signed up within the last 90 days and incorporated less than 10 years ago, with the discount valid for workspaces of up to 10 seats. The same page also mentions affiliation with a startup partner. By our arithmetic, 80% off $79 is $15.80 a seat, so five seats would be $79 a month for that first year, about the price of a Nautis plan. A bootstrapped company wouldn't meet the VC-backed test without such an affiliation.
On the Nautis side there is nothing at $0, just a 14-day trial with no card, and yearly plans with 2 months free. Attio gives a 14-day trial of Pro and needs no card to start.
Both meter AI, in different units
Attio splits credits in two. Seat credits are personal, for Ask Attio: 100, 500, 1,000 or 2,500 per user a month by plan. Workspace credits are shared across AI features and workflows: 250, 1,500 or 10,000 a month, or custom on Enterprise. You can buy more workspace credits, from $70 a month billed annually or $85 billed monthly for another 5,000, up to $475 or $595 for 50,000.
Nautis uses one pool of 1,000, 2,000 or 2,600 AI credits a month, shared across chat, voice and custom advisors, and sending is blocked when it runs out until it resets or you top up. Routines also use credits per run, while the briefing itself uses very little.
You can't compare these one to one, because a credit means something different in each product. A team running always-on agents across thousands of accounts would hit limits on either, and Attio's Pro allowance is clearly designed for that use.
A month of founder-led sales, in each
Say you run a two-person seed startup with 40 prospects and 30 calls booked for the month, and you also owe investors an update.
- In Attio: you connect your inbox and calendar, and contacts appear with enrichment on top. Calls get recorded and tied to the right deal, though the pricing page lists Call Intelligence and sequences on its Pro card, which is $158 a month for two annual seats before any startup discount. After call twelve, you ask which objections keep coming up. That is a strong setup for learning how your product sells, which is the actual job at this stage. The investor update and the burn number live elsewhere.
- In Nautis: you add leads to a pipeline, connect a transcription tool so summaries land on the meeting, and send follow-ups from MailBox. It takes more typing, and you get less insight from your calls. But the same morning briefing shows the deal going cold and the investor who hasn't replied, and the update can draw on tasks and runway in the same workspace.
Be honest about which part you are worst at. If you can't find out why people buy, Attio helps more. If you keep dropping everything except sales, Nautis helps more.
Should you run Attio and Nautis side by side?
Many startups could. Keep customers in Attio and leave the Nautis Leads CRM unused, while investors, finance and tasks stay in Nautis. Attio isn't named in the Nautis guides as an integration, so search the catalog before you count on a connection, and test whatever you find. Attio also has an MCP server, which may be another route for agents to reach it.
The cost of this split is the morning briefing. It reads the pipeline it holds, so sales news from Attio may not appear there unless you get a connection working. A founder who wants one screen will feel that, and one who already lives in Attio all day may not care.
Where Nautis loses, beyond features
Attio shows named customers, including startups and venture firms, on its site. Nautis launched publicly in July 2026, has few independent reviews, and we have no customer logos to show you. Attio's Pro plan has unlimited seats and enterprise tiers above it, so you can stay with it for a long time, while Nautis tops out at 25 team members on Fleet. If you expect a large sales team within two years, starting on Attio avoids a move.
Nautis also won't do as well if your AI hopes are specifically about revenue. Its strength is a broad view with approvals, so a request like "find me the next 50 accounts like this" belongs in a specialist tool.
Picking between them
- Pick Attio if you are venture-backed and selling, if you want your data model and AI built around customers, or if you plan to hire sellers soon.
- Pick Nautis if you are pre-seed to Series A and doing it all yourself, fundraising is near, and a basic pipeline is enough for now. See the pre-seed page.
- Pick both when sales needs depth but you still want one home for the rest. Start with Attio's $0 tier if three seats are enough.
- Pick neither yet if you don't have customers to track. Before that, a startup operating system or a simple sheet will carry you further than a clever CRM.
FAQ
Which is better in Nautis vs Attio for a sales team?
Attio. It has custom objects, enrichment, call recording, sequences and revenue agents, and Nautis's Leads CRM doesn't approach that depth. Nautis fits when sales is one job among many for a founder.

As of October 2026, its pricing page shows a $0 tier for up to 3 seats, Plus at $35 a user a month billed annually or $44 monthly, and Pro at $79 or $99. Enterprise is a custom quote. There is a 14-day trial of Pro.
What does the Attio startup program offer?
Its page lists 80% off the annual Pro plan and credits for the first year, 30% off in the second year, onboarding support, and perks from other tools. Can Attio track investors?
Attio names deal flow as a use, and its flexible objects let you model investors, with venture firms among the customers it shows. Nautis has a dedicated Fundraising CRM with investor search and readiness, alongside cap table tools on Voyage and Fleet.
Does Nautis record sales calls?
Not by itself in the guides we read. When Fathom, Fireflies or Read.ai is connected, the summary, action items and transcript appear on the meeting in Nautis. Attio has its own native recording and transcription.
