This page means FounderOS AI, the Business Decision Engine hosted at founderosai.netlify.app. It's a separate product from FounderOS at founder-os.ai, which is analytics for SaaS, and from FounderOS on founderos.sh. None of those pages suggest a connection.
What we can say comes from reading its single page in October 2026, plus its Product Hunt listing. The site is one interactive page, with no pricing page, company details or documentation that we found. That's common for a small early project, and it's why this page is short.
What the page offers
The page opens with two paths. Generate Ideas promises scored, stress-tested opportunities tailored to your profile. Analyze My Idea promises a brutal evaluation with scores, risks and a clear verdict. There's also an export button and a Try PRO switch. The Product Hunt tagline sums up the aim: AI that tells you what business to build, and what not.
The page's own code shows the section names a report can include. Those are Founder-Market Fit, Do Not Build This If, Kill Switch, Financial Simulator, Competitor Intel, Moat Strategy, MVP and Launch, Validation Toolkit and Execution Dashboard. We read those labels in the code and didn't complete a report, so we can't describe the quality of the output.
The blunt tone is a useful idea in itself. Most tools flatter you, and a section called Do Not Build This If invites the conversation a kind friend might avoid.
What we found on the basics
| Question | What we found |
|---|---|
| Price | Product Hunt lists it as free. The page has a Try PRO button, and its code contains a prompt showing $29/mo on locked sections, with no word on seats or annual billing. No pricing page or checkout seen |
| Account needed | No sign-up seen on the page |
| Launch | Product Hunt says launched in 2026, about seven months ago |
| Company and contact | Not listed on the page |
| Data handling | Not listed on the page |
| Team use, integrations | Not listed on the page |
Why a verdict tool and a workspace aren't rivals
The two only get compared because of the words founder and OS. A verdict is something you use once for each idea, and a workspace is somewhere you return to every day. If you are holding three ideas and a savings account, a tool that argues against each of them may save you a year. If you have payroll on the 28th, it has nothing to add.
Nautis vs FounderOS AI: where they differ
FounderOS AI answers one question, once: should you build this? Nautis assumes you've answered it. Its task boards, fundraising CRM, Startup Health and Chief of Staff need a real company's records, and with none in place, the 7:00 am briefing has little to report. It costs $49, $99 or $129 a month after a 14-day trial, and has no $0 tier.
Nautis has no idea generator in its guides. It does offer planning tools once you've chosen: Business Plans with AI drafts, a GTM Planner and a Financial Planner with multi-year statements. Those go further than a one-session verdict, but they also take far longer to fill in. There's a separate idea validator among the free tools on our site, if you want a second opinion on an idea at no cost.
How to use this information
- Try FounderOS AI if you are deciding among several ideas. It takes little commitment. Treat the scores as prompts for thinking, as with any AI tool, and check market claims yourself.
- Check how data is handled before you enter anything sensitive, as you would with any new tool. The page doesn't cover it.
- Look at Nautis once you have customers, a co-founder or a raise to manage. Nautis for first-time founders explains how it fits at that point. It's a young product as well, public since July 2026, with little outside review to go on.
FAQ
Is FounderOS AI free?
Its Product Hunt listing says free, and the page has no pricing page we could find. The page's code includes a locked-section prompt showing $29/mo, and a Try PRO button. So some paid tier may exist, but we couldn't confirm one.
Is FounderOS AI the same as FounderOS at founder-os.ai?
No. FounderOS AI on Netlify scores business ideas for founders. The other one, at founder-os.ai, is a Singapore company's SaaS activation analytics product. The pages we read show no link between them.
Which should I pick in Nautis vs FounderOS AI?
If you don't yet know what to build, try FounderOS AI, since Nautis has no idea generator in its guides. If you have a company to run, Nautis is the relevant one. The two aren't really alternatives.
Disclosure: We make Nautis, so we have a stake in this comparison. It's based on published information, not a scored hands-on test. Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we will correct it.
