Summarise

Round Funded (roundfunded.com, not to be confused with Round.vc or Rounds) tells founders: "You write the ask. We do the rest." You submit your startup once, it surfaces investors that fit your stage, sector and check size, and you send personalized email from your own address. It also keeps a library of accepted YC applications, grants and perks, and a shareable startup profile.

Nautis approaches a raise from the opposite direction. It keeps your company's records together, then helps you run the investors you already have in view. Which is right depends on one plain question about your round, which we'll start with. Facts below come from Round Funded's homepage and pricing page, read in October 2026.

Is your raise a volume game?

Volume suits you if you have no warm network, your round is small, and your likely backers are angels and pre-seed funds spread across many countries. For that founder, a large list with verified emails and tracked replies is exactly the tool. Round Funded says its investors have been active in the last six months, and it filters by your stage, without what it calls AI fit-scoring.

Volume suits you less if your round depends on five or ten specific funds and each one needs a careful introduction. A hundred more cold emails won't help that founder, and tighter records and better meeting preparation will. Our guide to finding and reaching investors and cold email generator can help you test which case you're in before you pay for anything.

Round+ also includes 500 CSV exports a month and Round Pro 2,500. Both are month-to-month, and the page prices them by plan and workspace rather than by seat. Monthly plans start with a 3-day trial that takes a card up front, for first-time accounts only, and you can cancel from the billing page. Lifetime has no trial, and its AI credits don't refill, so check what your raise will use.

Its pricing FAQ says there's no permanent $0 tier, though investor profiles, accelerators and pitch decks can be browsed without an account, and a separate article on its site describes free tools. Nautis also lacks a $0 tier, and offers a 14-day trial that doesn't ask for a card.

What actually gets sent, and who decides

Round Funded

You connect Gmail and send personalized outreach from your own address. Templates are ready to send in bulk, and opens, replies and pipeline stages sit in one place. Its FAQ says every email is yours to approve and nothing is sent behind your back. Round Pro's multiple inboxes suit advisors or agencies running several raises. Its page notes that it doesn't provide email warming or inbox warm-up for Google accounts, so inbox health stays your responsibility, and high volumes from a new domain deserve caution.

Nautis

Find Investors doesn't send messages. It gives you a website and LinkedIn link, and an Add to Pipeline button. Inside a deal, AI Outreach Draft writes an opener you can copy. On Raise HQ, Beacon prepares follow-ups under Follow up today, and each waits for Approve & send or Reject. That process suits a list of 40 well-researched investors. At 1,000 emails a month it would be unworkable, and it isn't built for that.

A pre-seed founder in Lisbon

Say you are a solo technical founder raising $400,000, pre-revenue, with no investors in your network. You'd send 300 emails over six weeks and hope for 20 conversations.

On Round+, $99 covers that month's sending, and the profile link gives each investor the same current material. Cancel after the raise and the cost stops. The work is mostly writing a good ask, then replying fast, which is where our investor follow-up generator or any strong template can help.

On Nautis Voyage, the same $99 buys a directory, a pipeline and a readiness score that tells you the deck's weak sections, along with tasks and a runway view you'll keep using after the close. But you would write and send those 300 emails yourself, which is a real cost when you're also building the product. For this founder, during this six weeks, the specialist does more of the job in hand.

After the close, the logic turns around. The outreach tool has done its work, and the company now has investors to report to, money to track and people to hire. That is a good moment to look at a workspace, and our pre-seed page describes what changes at that stage.

Figures we left out

Round Funded's pages quote reply rates, return figures and a sample fundraise receipt. We don't repeat them here, because raises vary too widely for any such figure to predict yours. The same goes for Nautis: we publish no results, since none have been confirmed.

Strengths on each side

  • Round Funded: speed to first contact. Its page says you submit your startup in about 4 minutes, and you get a list filtered to your stage.
  • Round Funded: lower commitment. Monthly plans can be cancelled when the raise ends, and a one-time option exists if you expect to raise repeatedly.
  • Round Funded: research extras. The YC application library and grant lists are useful in their own right.
  • Nautis: review before sending. Investor messages wait for you, and an owner or admin controls whether a capability can ever run on its own.
  • Nautis: life after the raise. It keeps working for you when you stop fundraising, across runway, tasks and sales.
  • Nautis weakness: age and depth. Its public launch came in July 2026, outside reviews are few, and it won't match a specialist's reach. The Fundraising CRM is a thinner tool than one built only for this.

Picking one for your round

  • Choose Round Funded if you plan to reach several hundred investors by email and you've accepted what cold outreach can and can't do.
  • Choose Nautis if you're raising from a shorter list, with intros doing most of the work, and you also need a place to run the company.
  • Use both if you want the volume now and the workspace longer term. Keep outreach in Round Funded, and move only serious conversations into a Nautis round so the pipeline stays honest. Read the seed funding guide before you decide how many investors you really need.

FAQ

Which is better for cold investor outreach in Nautis vs Round Funded?

Round Funded. It is built to send personalized email in bulk from your Gmail, up to 1,000 a month on Round+ and 5,000 on Round Pro, and its FAQ says each email is yours to approve. Nautis drafts individual messages that wait for your approval, which doesn't suit high volume.

How much does Round Funded cost?

As of October 2026, Round+ is $99 a month, Round Pro is $249 a month, and Lifetime is $899 once. Monthly plans begin with a 3-day trial that requires a card, and its FAQ says there's no permanent $0 tier.

Does Nautis send emails to investors automatically?

Not by default. Beacon drafts follow-ups in Raise HQ, and nothing is sent until you click Approve & send. You can also copy a draft and send it from your own inbox.

Is the Round Funded Lifetime plan worth it?

It depends on how often you'll raise. It costs the same as about nine months of Round+ and includes Round Pro features, but its 10,000 AI credits are one-time rather than monthly. Work out how many credits one raise uses before paying.
